This recipe brings back such fond memories of one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas, Texas. The beautiful Il Sorrento Ristorante and of course, my favorite dish was Veal Marsala. Such lovely memories.

Can I freeze this dish for later?

Yes, Chicken Marsala is easily frozen and reheated. Save some clean-up and transfer to a gallon freezer bag. It can be frozen for 2-3 months. (It probably won’t stay in there that long). Then you can reheat in a sauce pan with a lid or covered in an oven pan. with a dash of Marsala wine.

What can I serve with this Chicken Marsala recipe?

You can start with a green salad with a little tomato. Serve this dish with some buttery garlic pasta and some good focaccia Italian bread. (Who wants rice?) Broccoli on the side is nice, too.

Can I make this into a creamy sauce?

If you like creamy sauces you can add a cup of heavy whipping cream. Half and half won’t do the job.

What temperature should the chicken reach?

As with most meat, you’ll want the chicken at 165 degrees if you’re making this on the stove. You won’t need to worry about internal temperature when using the Instant Pot or the Farberwave electric pressure cookers. Just load it in and push a button. That’s what so amazing about pressure cooking. Plus making one pot meals is such easy clean up.

How many calories and fat per serving?

There is around 450 calories per serving and about 25 grams of fat, but lots of protein.
